Major overhaul planned for Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium

Plans are in place for a major overhaul of Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium to match the quality of Dubai’s cricket venue.

PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi recently inspected the Dubai facility, spending a brief time assessing various sections, including the dressing rooms and VIP areas.

Following his visit, he recommended similar upgrades for the Gaddafi Stadium.

The renovation is scheduled to start next Monday, with the main structure already dismantled.

This initiative aims to improve the stadium amenities, responding to the frequent concerns raised by spectators. The cricket authority is targeting a completion date before the year’s end.
