To ensure strict security measures, Rawalpindi Police have deployed over 5,000 personnel, with more than 350 traffic officers working to regulate traffic.
The Rawalpindi central police officer confirmed that a special control room had been established to oversee security, utilizing Safe City cameras and CCTV surveillance to monitor both the stadium and surrounding areas.
Additionally, snipers have been strategically placed on rooftops along the route and around the venue, while Police, Dolphin Force, and Elite Force units are actively patrolling. Spectators can only enter after passing through walk-through gates and undergoing full-body searches.
In line with security protocols, parking outside designated areas is strictly prohibited. Senior officials continue to conduct security briefings and inspections, coordinating with the Pakistan Army, Rangers, and other agencies.
Fans should note that power banks, hands-free devices, AirPods, food items, and other restricted objects will not be permitted inside the stadium.
The match marks the first game of the tournament to be held at the Pindi stadium. Following Pakistan’s crushing six-wicket defeat to India in Sunday’s high-profile clash in Dubai, the outcome of this match is crucial for the host nation’s chances in the Champions Trophy 2025. A victory for Bangladesh would help keep Pakistan’s campaign alive.
