The first finalist of the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was determined after Multan Sultans triumphed over Peshawar Zalmi by seven wickets in the Qualifier at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium.
The team led by Mohammad Rizwan has clinched a place in the PSL final for the fourth consecutive time.
Babar Azam’s Zalmi will get another opportunity on March 16 to qualify for the final, facing either Islamabad United or Quetta Gladiators.
In terms of individual statistics, Babar is significantly ahead in the list of top run-scorers.
The 29-year-old surpassed the 500-run milestone during the Qualifier, marking the third time he has achieved this feat in a single edition.

2- Mohammad Rizwan: 381 runs, 11 innings

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi’s talented opener Saim Ayub continues to top the most sixes chart as the left-handed batter has been Zalmi’s one of most important players this season.
