BEIJING: Asus has launched a new AMD-powered version of its Adol 14 Air 2026 laptop in China, bringing together a lightweight design, high-performance processor, and premium OLED display technology.
The latest model features an AMD Ryzen 9 8945H processor, a 120Hz OLED screen, and a 70Wh battery, with prices starting at approximately $1,003.
The Asus Adol 14 Air 2026 is built with a magnesium-aluminium alloy body that measures only 14.9mm thick and weighs around 990 grams, making it highly portable.
The laptop features a 14-inch OLED display with a 2880 × 1800 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering sharper visuals and smoother performance.
The panel supports 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage, reaches a claimed peak brightness of 1,100 nits, and comes with DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification for enhanced contrast and image quality.
The screen can rotate up to 180 degrees, while additional features include a backlit keyboard, large touchpad, and an infrared camera for facial recognition.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 8945H processor, featuring eight cores and 16 threads from AMD’s Hawk Point lineup.
Graphics duties are handled by the integrated Radeon 780M GPU, while Asus has configured the processor to operate at up to 45W under sustained workloads.
For cooling, the device uses a dual-fan system with two heat pipes, designed to maintain stable performance while managing heat and noise levels.
The laptop is available with 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X memory. Both versions come with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, while an additional M.2 slot allows users to expand storage.
Battery and Connectivity
The device is powered by a 70Wh battery, designed to provide extended usage for work and entertainment.

Price and Availability
The 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD variant is priced at approximately $1,003 in Hyacinth Blue and $1,018 in Iris Purple.
The 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD model costs around $1,121 in blue and $1,136 in purple.
The Asus Adol 14 Air 2026 AMD variant is currently available in China through JD.com. The company has not yet confirmed plans for a global launch.
