If you’ve always wanted to visit Greece, here is your chance. As Greece has opened its borders to third-country visitors, it should be highlighted that it recognizes the greatest number of travel vaccines.

The Greek government has approved; Pfizer BioNtech, Moderna, AstraZeneca/Oxford, Novavax, Johnson + Johnson/Janssen, Sinovac Biotech, Gamaleya (Sputnik), Cansino Biologics, and Sinopharm vaccines for travel. This comprises India’s own Covershield as well as the Russian-made Sputnik V vaccines for travel.

Greece has also set entrance restrictions for visitors, which means you must provide proof of vaccination. However, the vaccination certificates that you have to show in Greece must be in one of the six languages that Greece prefers. German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Russian are the available languages.

Moreover, according to the Greek government, “Entry of tourists in Greece is not subject to vaccination. Presenting a vaccination certificate greatly facilitates the procedures upon arrival. However, in no case is a vaccination or antibodies certificate considered a passport.”
