US Rapper Akon spotted in Makkah, Performs Umrah

Famous US Rapper AKON  visited Makkah to perform Umrah. Social media saw a different side of Akon this week.

While performing the Umrah, The US-Senegalese singer and rapper, real name Aliaune Thiam, Akon he disclosed that Islam is the only key to success. He stressed that all his success came from Allah and then Islam.

The popular singer who has many tracks in English to himself said in an interview, “The reason behind my success is faith on Almighty Allah and by following Islam.”

Akon was seen at Makah with either his family members or his close friends. Many of his pictures have gone viral on the social media.

The singer is known for his different tracks in English languages among them he also has worked in making songs like rapping.

Meanwhile, he was performing Umrah at Makkah, many Muslims even does not know that AKON is a Muslim,

The 46-years old, who is a Muslim by birth, but, most of the people does not know that he was born to a Muslim family in St Louis on April 16, 1973. Pictures and videos that are surfacing on social media are surprising people, in which the singer is performing different rituals of the Umrah including Tawaf.

On one occasion, he expressed himself and opened up about his religion and said that Islam is the key behind his success.

Akon was on tour in Saudi Arabia, he posted the concert picture on his Instagram, which reads, “Saudi Arabia was crazy!! Thanks again Saudi for the love once again.”
