After capturing a big 14-foot crocodile using only his bare hands and some rope, a guy has gained fame in his village.
Usman, the man, claimed that it had been prowling the region for at least two days and had alarmed the locals of Ambau Indah, Indonesia, making it unsafe for them to work in the rice fields.

The courageous Usman, who is now being hailed as a hero in his hamlet on the island of Buton, off the southeast coast of Sulawesi, is shown in a video securing the enormous lizard about the jaws.

“The community is grateful for what Usman has accomplished. Some even view it as a heroic deed because it prevented many people from becoming victims “Umar Siddiq Al Farizi remarked.

He claimed that the region had experienced a number of crocodile assaults in the past. He also applauded Usman for telling the authorities about the capture.

“This was a unique animal, one whose habitat had been harmed by flooding, according to Usman. He believed that it deserved to be preserved rather than murdered “stated Umar.

When the crocodile wandered into the neighbourhood in quest of food, Usman, 53, decided to take matters into his own hands.

“If we had left it, it would have come on to land and we wouldn’t have been able to go into the rice fields,” he said.

“Additionally, there are drainage channels here that are used for fishing along the highways. The drainage channels would have been risky for it to climb. I had to try something new “Added he.

The 4.3-meter-long crocodile will be returned to the wild, according to a representative of the regional Natural Resources Conservation Agency.
