صدر  مملکت ڈاکٹر عارف علوی نے کہا ہے کہ عالمی برادری کو بھارت کے غیر قانونی زیر قبضہ جموں و کشمیر کے مظلوم عوام کے حوالے سے اپنی یقین دہانیوں اور ذمہ داریوں کو پورا کرنا چاہئے۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق یوم خودارادیت کے موقع پر صدر مملکت ڈاکٹر عارف علوی کی جانب سے پیغام جاری کیا گیا ہے۔

Every year on 5th January, Kashmiris across the world mark this day as a reminder to the United Nations of its commitment to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the right to self-determination through a free and impartial plebiscite.

اپنے پیغام میں صدر مملکت کا کہنا ہے کہ پاکستان کشمیریوں کی اپنے حق خود ارادیت کیلئے جدوجہد کی غیر متزلزل حمایت جاری رکھے گا۔

Kashmiris remain steadfast in their struggle for Right to Self-Determination guaranteed by UN resolutions and the UN charter. The world must act to fulfil its responsibility. Pakistan on its part, will always remain committed to the just cause of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

انہوں نے مزید کہا ہے کہ پاکستان تاریخِ جدید کے سب سے بے رحم، غیر انسانی اور غیرقانونی تسلط کے جبر سے آزادی کی جدوجہد میں اہل کشمیر کیساتھ بالکل واضح اور غیر مبہم انداز میں کھڑا ہے۔
