Mexican fans are one such group who enjoy behaving erratically on the streets. A group of Mexican fans can be seen following a posse of officers patrolling on horses in a viral video, wearing their distinctive broad-brimmed and high-crowned hats called sombreros. The Mexican fans were dressed as horses and appeared to be walking on all fours. ESPN shared a video of their outrageous actions on Instagram on Thursday, and it has received over 8.31 lakh views.

“I love my Mexican brothers and sisters lol,” one user wrote. “Fifa are regretting the World Cup for 2026,” another said, along with a laughing emoji. The 2026 World Cup will be staged in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

“Mexico has the best fans and no one can say otherwise, viva Mexico,” said another person. “We need more horse costumes lol,” another netizen commented.

Mexico began their World Cup campaign on November 22 with a 0-0 tie against Poland at Stadium 974. Their next match is at Lusail Stadium versus Argentina.
