US President Donald Trump has said that new agreement with Iran is a “wall” against Iran’s nuclear capability.
During a meeting in France with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Trump stated that sending the Iran deal to Congress for review is a good idea, and that the agreement could be submitted for legislative oversight.
However, he emphasized that the new deal serves as a strong barrier against Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
Comparing it with the Obama-era Iran deal, Trump claimed that the previous agreement was dangerous for the Middle East and could have enabled Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.
He further said that Iran wants to resolve the issue quickly and return to business activities.
According to Trump, the key points of the agreement will be shared with the media within the next one or two days.
He also claimed that under the deal, the Strait of Hormuz will be fully opened from Friday, and no tolls will be charged in the waterway.
