
Karachi’s temperature has once again touched 41 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, humidity in the air was recorded at only 11 percent in the metropolitan city. Today, the minimum temperature was also recorded at 28 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department said that sea breezes are suspended in the city, a north-west hot wind is blowing at a speed of 12 km per hour, and the heatwave will intensify from tomorrow.
The Meteorological Department warned that the temperature is likely to be recorded up to 42 degrees Celsius from tomorrow. The intensity of heat will be felt up to 43 or 44 degrees Celsius.
On the other hand, reports showed that the new heatwave will sweep across Sindh from May 18. Meteorological Department issues a heatwave alert, where it is mentioned that temperatures at Dadu, Jacobabad, Larkana, Sukkur, Khairpur, and Ghotki are likely to reach 48 to 50-degree temperatures.
Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, and, Sanghar are likely to record a temperature of 44 to 46 degrees Celsius.
Karachi, Thatta, and Badin are likely to record a temperature of 40 to 42 degrees Celsius.
