War in Ukraine: The following are the updates on the most recent events in the conflict in Ukraine.

Kyiv claims that it was able to destroy armaments storage while firing a barrage of rockets and missiles against Russian military targets in southern Ukraine.

According to sources from the Ukrainian military, the strikes that took place in the Kherson region destroyed artillery, armored vehicles, and a depot with ammunition in Nova Kakhovka.

According to the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Sienkevych, Russian forces have launched ‘massive’ strikes on the city of Mykolaiv, which is located in the southern part of Ukraine. The strikes have caused damage to two medical facilities as well as residential buildings.

During his trip to Kyiv, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said that the Netherlands will join other Western allies in supplying more sophisticated artillery to the front lines. Rutte made the announcement when the Netherlands was hosting the European Union Summit.

However, a senior official from the United States has warned that Moscow is also receiving a military boost, as Iran plans to give Russia hundreds of drones that are equipped with the capability to engage in armed conflict for use in Ukraine.

Following the issuance of a decree by Russian President Vladimir Putin that streamlines the process of obtaining Russian passports for all Ukrainians, it is anticipated that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will open a representative office for separatist authorities in Moscow.
