Solar panel prices reduced in Pakistan

In a surprising turn of events, solar panel prices have recently witnessed a significant drop. The cost of solar panels has plummeted by a whopping 60%, leading to substantial savings for consumers.

For instance, the price of a 550-watt solar panel has seen a remarkable reduction from 70 thousand to 27 thousand rupees, marking a substantial decrease of 43 thousand rupees.

Similarly, the 450-watt variant is now available at 24 thousand rupees, and the 330-watt option is priced at 20 thousand rupees, both experiencing high demand.

Traders attribute this sudden decline in solar panel prices to two key factors: the liberalization of imports and tax relief.

The opening of imports has facilitated greater market competition, while tax relief measures have contributed to the overall reduction in costs. It’s noteworthy that this trend isn’t isolated, as a global decrease in solar panel prices has been observed recently.

Warehouses in Europe and America, laden with surplus solar panels, triggered a widespread reduction in prices globally, with costs continuing to decrease steadily. This development underscores the positive impact on the accessibility of solar energy solutions for consumers.
