Dubai Police Crack Down on Illegal Turns with Penalties

Dubai Police has issued a reminder to drivers regarding the consequences of making improper turns outside designated areas or in an incorrect manner.

In a recently released video on social media, the authority emphasized the role of smart traffic systems in monitoring such violations.

These actions can lead to traffic congestion and put pedestrians’ lives at risk. Drivers are cautioned about the significant penalty for breaking the law, which includes a fine of Dh500 and the addition of four black points to their driving record.

Dubai Police reported a total of 29,463 violations in the past year, resulting in six individuals sustaining injuries in related incidents.
