School timings in Punjab for Ramzan 2024 – March 11

The Punjab Education Department plans to adjust school schedules for the upcoming holy month of Ramzan 2024. An official notification regarding this adjustment will be issued shortly.

It is anticipated that both public and private schools will operate from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, schools will conclude at 11:30 am.

For double-shift schools, the morning session will run from 7:15 am to 12:30 pm, while the afternoon session will operate from 12:15 pm to 4:30 pm.

These revised timings are expected to be implemented starting March 11, coinciding with the expected beginning of Ramzan in Pakistan, which is likely to be on Monday or Tuesday.

In Lahore, schools will adhere to similar timings during Ramzan, with classes running from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. However, in private schools, playgroup and nursery classes will conclude at 11:30 am. Fridays will see all schools in Lahore closing by 11:30 am.

In Rawalpindi, school timings will mirror those of other cities during the fasting month.
