Naan and Roti Prices Dropped in Punjab Cities; Check New Rates!
In Lahore, the Punjab government has reduced naan and roti prices in four districts to alleviate inflation pressure on the public.
The deputy commissioner offices in the districts have issued a notification mandating the immediate implementation of the new prices.
According to the notification, the price of roti has been reduced by Rs4 to Rs16 in Lahore, and the new price of a 100-gram roti is set at Rs15 in Sheikhupura, Nankana, and Kasur districts. Additionally, the price of a 120-gram naan has been fixed at Rs20 across all cities.
The notification stated that the order would take immediate effect within the revenue boundary of District Lahore and would remain in effect until modified or withdrawn.
No individual or shopkeeper is permitted to charge or allow the charging of prices for the mentioned items higher than the rates that have been set.
The cost of a 100-gram Tandoori roti has decreased by Rs4 to Rs16.
In Lahore, the price of a 120-gram Naan has been set at Rs20 per piece.
