Plans for solar panel tax in upcoming budget

• Tax Incentives for the Former FATA Region: Discussions include proposals for tax breaks in the agriculture and insurance sectors, along with incentives for establishing agricultural warehouses. This includes a proposed 10-year tax exemption on imported equipment for storage and warehouses.
• Increased Duties on Used Cars: Suggestions have been made to raise regulatory duties on used cars, prompting concerns about potential price hikes for imported used vehicles in Pakistan.
• Elimination of SME Tax Exemptions: Recommendations may entail ending current tax exemptions enjoyed by small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
• Stricter Import Laws for Vehicles: Import policies for cars are expected to be tightened further to prevent misuse.
