Two including a policeman killed in two separate blasts in Bajaur
PESHAWAR: Two people including a policeman were killed in two blasts in Bajaur District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
District Police Officer (DPO) Waqas Rafiq said that two people were killed in two separate bomb blasts in Tehsil Mamond of Bajaur district on Saturday morning.
Waqiz Rafiq said that the first bomb blast took place Airab area in the premises of Loi Mamond police station in which Malik Asghar was killed.
The second explosion took place in Menakhor area of Loi Mamond police station in which police officer Ehsanullah was killed.
The DPO says that the police have started an investigation after the incidents of explosions, but no one has yet claimed responsibility.
Earlier, At least 26 people were killed and 40 others were injured in in a suicide blast at Quetta railway station.
According to rescue sources, 26 people died in the explosion while 40 were injured in the blast. Sources have said that the injured are being shifted to the hospital.
The rescue teams have been rushed to the blast site and shifted bodied and injured to nearby hospital.
