Lahore: The National Selection Committee has unveiled a 15-member Pakistan U19 squad for the upcoming ACC Women’s U19 T20 Asia Cup, scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur from 15-22 December. Zoofishan Ayyaz will lead the team as captain, with Komal Khan serving as vice-captain.

Top-order Batters: Areesha Ansari (Kasur), Fizza Fiaz (Lahore), Maham Anees (Islamabad), Ravail Farhan (Lahore), Zoofishan Ayyaz (Wah Cantt)

The selection followed a 21-day skills and fitness camp involving 32 players, which included three intra-squad matches to assess performance.

Pakistan begins their campaign against India on 15 December, followed by a clash with Nepal on 16 December in Group A. Group B features Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and hosts Malaysia.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super-Four Stage, set for 19 and 20 December, with the final slated for 22 December.

Pakistan’s preparation reflects the team’s determination to excel in the prestigious tournament.

15 December – Sri Lanka v Malaysia (9.30am, KL time); Pakistan v India (2pm, KL time)

16 December – Sri Lanka v Bangladesh (9.0am, KL time); Pakistan v Nepal (2pm, KL time)

17 December – Bangladesh v Malaysia (9.30am, KL time); India v Nepal (2pm, KL time)

18 December – 5th/6th position play-off (2pm, KL time)
