The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued the first heatwave warning of the season for Sindh, saying temperatures could go 5 to 7 degrees Celsius higher than normal in many areas. The weather is already hot and dry in upper and central parts of the province.

Cities like Larkana, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, and Sukkur are likely to see extremely high temperatures. People living in these areas, especially outdoor workers, children, and older adults, are at risk of heat-related health problems. Authorities are asking everyone to be careful, as the heat could be dangerous.

In Karachi, the weather is also getting hotter. Monday will be dry and hot, but humidity is expected to increase on Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures could go up to 38°C, and humidity might reach 80 to 90 percent, which will make it feel even more uncomfortable.

The weather department is advising people to drink plenty of water and stay out of the sun, especially between 11 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. It’s important to take care of yourself during this heatwave.
