Pakistan forces kill 4 terrorists linked to India-Backed group in Mastung
Rawalpindi: Security forces killed four militants of the India-backed group Fitna Al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Mastung, Balochistan, the military’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.
According to ISPR, the operation was launched after security forces received intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area. During the raid, forces targeted the militants’ hideout, and a heavy exchange of fire took place.
The military said four terrorists were killed on the spot in the swift and well-coordinated action by security forces.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their successful operation. He said eliminating terrorists from the India-sponsored group was a major achievement.
He added that the entire nation stands with the brave forces in the fight against terrorism and vowed that Pakistan will wipe out terrorism in all its forms.
