Security forces eliminate 19 terrorists in security operation; 9 soldiers martyred including senior officers

On the night of October 7 and 8, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in District Orakzai following information about the presence of Indian-proxy terrorist group Fitnah al-Khawarij. In this successful operation, 19 Indian-sponsored foreign terrorists were killed, military’s media wing said in a statement on Wednesday.

During the intense exchange of fire, Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif, Major Tayyab, and 9 other brave soldiers were martyred. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that security forces are continuing a sanitization operation to clear the area of terrorists.

ISPR further emphasized that the security forces are determined to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism, and the sacrifices of the soldiers strengthen their resolve.
