
Islamabad: Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain, son of veteran statesman Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, has been elected unopposed as the new President of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF).
The Election Commission of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) formally ratified the results through an official notification issued earlier today. Alongside Hussain’s appointment, several other key administrative roles within the federation were also filled.
As per the notification, Muhammad Sarwar Rana has been elected as Secretary General, while Muhammad Sohail Ahmed Khan assumes the role of Finance Secretary. Akhtar Abbas Khawaja has been named Associate Secretary, with Rana Amjad Iqbal appointed as Joint Secretary.
The notification further confirms the appointment of Executive Members: Sultan Syed Shah, Humaira Latif, Faiza Batool, Fareeha Shabbir, and Saba Naz reflecting a broader and more inclusive administrative vision for the sport’s governance.
The election results were officially endorsed with signatures from Election Commissioner Waseem Majeed Malik, and commission members Babar Sohail and Zohaib Hassan Gondal.
With this uncontested win, Chaudhry Salik Hussain is now positioned as a key figure in the strategic advancement of kabaddi in Pakistan. His leadership is expected to inject renewed momentum into the sport’s development and institutional growth nationwide.
