Hania Aamir appointed as UN National Goodwill Ambassador

KARACHI: The United Nations in Pakistan has appointed renowned actress Hania Aamir as its new National Goodwill Ambassador.

According to the organization, Hania will play a key role in promoting awareness on women’s rights, gender equality, and empowerment across the country.

In an announcement shared on Instagram, the UN stated that through her new role, Hania aims to use her platform to raise awareness, inspire action, and amplify the voices of women and girls nationwide.

Expressing her gratitude, Hania Aamir said that achieving equality and empowering women remains her top priority. “Every girl deserves the right to pursue her dreams,” she emphasized.

It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, Hania Aamir was reportedly unwell during an award ceremony in Houston, USA, but has since fully recovered.
