Facilitator and handler of Islamabad suicide blast arrested
ISLAMABAD: The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have arrested the facilitator and handler involved in the Islamabad Judicial Complex attack.
According to sources, the facilitator had been residing in Rawalpindi for the past month and was apprehended there, while the handler was arrested in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Both suspects, reportedly from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, have been transferred to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
Sources revealed that prior to the suicide blast, the facilitator and the attacker conducted multiple reconnaissance visits of the judicial complex.
The Islamabad Judicial Complex attack killed 12 people and injured 36 others.
Earlier, security agencies also arrested the motorcycle rider who helped the attacker reach the complex.
