Luxury smartphone customizer Caviar has launched a limited edition collection of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra devices, featuring designs inspired by famous fictional characters from “Scarface,” “The Godfather” and “Joker,” as the company targets high end collectors with premium materials and exclusive craftsmanship.
The new “Legends” collection transforms Samsung’s standard foldable smartphones into luxury pieces by replacing their original back panels with handmade artwork created through hot cloisonné enamel, a traditional jewelry technique that uses colored enamel inside detailed wire designs.
Each customized phone features 24K gold plating on the frame, device edges and camera areas. Caviar has limited production to only 19 units for each design, making the devices rare collector items rather than regular smartphones.
The first two models are based on the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 design. The “Scarface” edition features a portrait of Tony Montana wearing a white suit, placed over a gold guilloche pattern. The device starts at $12,560 for the 256GB storage model.
The “Godfather” version carries the same starting price and highlights Don Vito Corleone in a tuxedo. The design includes details such as a red rose and the film’s iconic marionette string theme, all incorporated into the gold finished artwork.
The third model is built on the larger Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and focuses on the Joker character. The phone uses purple, green and burgundy enamel colors to display the character holding playing cards, with a geometric background pattern adding to its luxury appearance, the Joker edition starts at $12,990 for the 256GB version.
The limited edition devices are now available for orders as Samsung’s new foldable smartphones continue their global release.
Caviar is known for creating highly customized versions of popular smartphones using precious metals, artistic designs and luxury finishes. The company recently introduced special edition phones inspired by football stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, featuring gold accents and exclusive styling.
