Captain (R) Safdar again tests positive for novel Coronavirus

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Captain Safdar Awan has again contracted the novel Coronavirus.

PML-N Youth Wing spokesman Ali Yousafzai said that party leader Captain Safdar again tested positive for the virus.

He is under treatment at ICU of Sharif Medical Complex, Raiwind. Doctors advised him complete bed rest, said Yousufzai.

The PML-N leader had tested positive for Coronavirus on November 9. Later, he admitted to the Sharif Medical Complex for his treatment.

Earlier, Capt. (R), who had been arrested on charges of violating the sanctity of Quaid’s mausoleum, had granted bail.

He was produced before court after he was arrested by police for chanting slogans at Mazar-e-Quaid.

PML-N lawyers prepared papers stating that the case against Capt (R) Safdar is based on malice.

On the other hand, Maryam Nawaz consulted with the former prime minister Shahid Khaqan, and other PML-N leaders including Muhammad Zubair, Muftah Ismail to get bail for Captain (R).
