Nomination papers for Senate elections to be received by Monday

Nomination papers for the Senate elections will be received by Monday (tomorrow).

As per the details, the list of all the candidates contesting for the election will be published on Tuesday.

Moreover, scrutiny of the papers will be held on the 17th and 18th of February 2021.

The candidates are allowed to withdraw their nomination papers on 25th Feb while poling for the Senate seats will take place on the 3rd of March at the parliament house Islamabad and the four provincial assemblies.

Apart from that, the candidates are also allowed to file appeals against acceptance or rejection of nomination papers on 20th February. The last date for the submission of appeals is 23rd February.

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) on Saturday has issued a final list of its candidates for the upcoming Senate elections after final approval by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
