Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Thursday will chair party’s core committee meeting to discuss strategy regarding Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal’s (JUI-F) Azadi March.

According to the details, the participants will also deliberate upon the ongoing investigations of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against PPP leadership.

Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had announced complete support for JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s ant-government protest and said that his party would welcome Azadi March.

“We have not yet been told anything about the march, however, we completely back JUI-F,” he said.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the Azadi March convoys from across the country will leave for Islamabad on October 27 to enter jointly in the federal capital on October 31.

Moreover, Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar quoted Mian Nawaz Sharif as having said on Thursday, “Anybody who loves Pakistan would follow Maulana Fazlur Rehman.”

Speaking to the media after meeting his father-in-law at Kot Lakhpat Jail, where the former Prime Minister is serving a jail term, he said Maulana’s march was against a system that has stopped a batter system from prevailing.

He asked the people to prepare for a fresh election since “Imran Khan was nowhere to be seen.”

Captain Safdar said the PML-N would welcome the participants of the Azadi March in Lahore if Shehbaz Sharif’s health doesn’t allow him to become a part of it.

According to reports, Begum Shamim, Nawaz Sharif’s mother, Junaid Safdar, his grandson, and personal physician of the former prime minister visited him in the Kot Lakhpat jail.

Shehbaz Sharif was unable to join the family members since his backache is said to have intensified.
