Indian singer Diljaan dies in car accident

Renowned Indian Punjabi singer Diljaan has passed away in a car accident on Tuesday.

According to the local sources, Diljaan was traveling alone in the car when the accident took place on the Amritsar-Jalandhar highway near Jandiala Guru Town of Amritsar today morning.

Some Sikh people returning from Hola Mohalla tried to rescue him. The singer was taken to the hospital but he was declared dead there.

The reasons behind the accident have not been revealed yet.

Police are investigating the accident. Sources said that the car hit a stationary vehicle on the road as its front was damaged. Diljaan’s family is returning from Canada.

Diljaan got fame through a singing reality show Sur Kshetra in 2012. He has sung songs including Shoon Karke. He was all set to release the songs Tere Warge and Hanju.
