National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) recommended on Saturday that anyone who did not hold a COVID-19 vaccination certificate should not be allowed to travel by air after Aug. 1.

NCOC said in a Tweet, “From August 1, a Coronavirus Vaccination Certificate is required for domestic air travel. Get yourself vaccinated by July 31 and get a vaccination certificate to save yourself the trouble.”

Pakistan Logs 1,841 New COVID-19 Cases In 24 Hours, Daily Positivity Rate At 4.89%

In the last 24 hours, 32 more people have died in Pakistan from the global pandemic of coronavirus while 1841 new cases have also been reported.

According to Corona’s statistics website (covid.gov.pk) in Pakistan, 37,636 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours across the country, of which 1,841 were tested positive while 32 people have succumbed to the virus.

According to the official portal, the positivity rate in the country during the last 24 hours was 4.89%.

The official portal further stated that the number of deaths from Corona in the country has reached 22971 and the total number of cases has crossed 1 million.

In addition, 1310 patients have recovered in 24 hours across the country, bringing the total number of recoveries to 924,782 while the number of active cases is 54,122.

Vaccine Statistics

366,477 vaccines were administered across Pakistan on 23 July and 24,914,918 in total vaccine administered till now.
