In a Tweet, the minister wrote, “Total number of people vaccinated has now crossed 2 crores. Further acceleration is being planned for August. By the end of August, all major cities target is to have at least 40% of the eligible population vaccinated.”
The total number of cases of coronavirus in Pakistan exceeded one million and the number of deaths exceeded 23,000. In 24 hours, the positivity rate in the country was 6.32%.
According to the details, the National Command and Operations Center said that 45 patients died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths from coronavirus to 23,016.
The NCOC says that in the last 24 hours, 2,819 new cases of coronavirus have been reported, bringing the total number of cases in the country to over one million.
The total number of patients recovering from the coronavirus in the country has reached 925,958.
According to the NCOC, 44,579 tests for the coronavirus were conducted in the last 24 hours. So far, 1,56,67,114 tests have been conducted in the country.
The NCOC said that in the last 24 hours, the rate of positive cases of coronavirus in the country stood at 6.32%, with 2,573 cases of coronavirus in 631 hospitals across the country in critical condition.
Vaccination status
So far, 19,27,382 people in the country have been given one dose of the vaccine while 68,69,346 people have been given both doses of the vaccine.
