Waqar Younis says he is satisfied with bowlers’ performance against WI
Bowling coach Waqar Younis says he is satisfied with the bowlers’ performance against the West Indies. He further added that the bowlers created opportunities but unfortunately the fielders could not avail themselves of it.
In a virtual press conference, Waqar Younis said that it is a matter of pride for the players to compete in a low-scoring match.
The bowling coach also lauded the performance of fast bowlers Muhammad Abbas and spinner Yasir Shah. He said that there are some days in a Test match when even if you bowl well, you do not get a wicket.
The Waqar Younis welcomed the positive criticism and vowed to continue coaching. He said the criticism should be positive. He has hoped for a good performance against other teams, including the T20 World Cup, that will take place in UAE.
