Kate and William are guilty of copying Meghan and Harry

An analyst claims that Kate Middleton and Prince William “jumped on the bandwagon” after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle established a new royal practice of using social media.

According to popular culture analyst Nick Ede, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s use of social media have changed.

However, he stated that the primary difference has come “after Harry and Meghan began to utilize social media in a fairly significant way.”

While Ede admitted social media is a method of “giving people an insight into their lives in a very controlled way”, he also claimed the Royal Family were previously “a little bit scared of social media”, as the monarchy is often “slower” to “move with the times.”

But, he claims, the Royal Family now sees themselves as more of a “brand.”
