Mother rubs chilli powder in son’s eyes, after knowing about his drug addiction

Mother in Hyderabad, India rubbed chilli powder in son’s eyes as punish after knowing about his addiction.

According to reports 15-year old boy was first tied to pole to stop him from running away. He was being punished for his cannabis locally known as ganja addiction.

This video surfaced on Monday and now has more than 10,000 views.

On video other woman can be seen holding the boy’s hands so that the mother could rub the chilli on his eyes.

With the chilli’s burning, the boy screamed. Some of the neighbors could be heard asking the mother to water her son’s face.

According to some reports she untied the boy after he promised to give up his drug addiction.

Netizens reacted to the video, some condemning the act and asking whether harsh punishments are effective in cases of addiction.
