Shehbaz Sharif new Patron-in-Chief of PCB after Imran Khan

After taking oath as the 23rd Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has also become the Patron-in-Chief of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The picture of the former PM Imran Khan has been removed from the office and website and has been replaced with the Shehbaz’s.

Shehbaz was sworn in as the country’s new Prime Minister on Monday, and he assumed command of the PM Office on Tuesday.

The Patron-in-Chief may recommend two names for the governing board, one of which is allocated to lead the PCB, according to the modified constitution of 2019.
