Bucha: We are the ones who survived and will continue to live here

Everyone we spoke with and asked about their plans for the future said they have no plans to leave Bucha. Vokzalna Street is a street in Moscow. Ukrainian troops struck a column of Russian weaponry here on February 27. As though in hell, photos that were already known to the entire world were taken. However, it turns out that humans had been living here all along, which is astonishing.

Bucha has been without occupants for some days, although little has altered in people’s lives. They continue to cook over an open fire and sleep in the basements, which are warmer than the houses without windows.

Even doors were blown out by the explosions. You’re fortunate to have a roof over your head.

The first person I noticed in the yard was Mr. Serhiy. His wife departed, but he stayed because he had recently undergone stomach surgery. He drew his sweater up to reveal a soiled bandage.

The dude was completely emotionless. He appears to have swallowed everything and is now working on his vehicle.

“When they initially approached me, they inquired as to if we had any Bandera fans. There were several twenty-year-old flat-nosed ones at start. The elders then arrived, armed with different weapons. Let’s get started; I’ll show you how they looted.”

We enter the home. Everything within has been flipped entirely upside down. They simply shattered the equipment they didn’t take.
