The US secretary of state Antony Blinken got a letter from Steve Cohen, a Democratic agent from Tennessee, requesting that he prohibit specific legal counselors from entering the US.
In a letter seen by the Financial Times, Mr Cohen stated: “Oligarchs who recruit attorneys to take part in harmful bodies of evidence against writers to quietness they can’t apply to defame impact in our framework.
“The United States should lay out impediments for unfamiliar empowering agents serving people who are sabotaging a majority rule government.”
Mr Cohen recorded a few legal counselors who he accepted ought to be prohibited from heading out to the US – including Keith Schilling of Schillings, Nigel Tait of Carter-Ruck, and John Kelly of Harbottle and Lewis.
