Watch: Kansas city chiefs stars took home win Timberlake’s 8 AM Golf Invitational

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs traded their footballs for golf clubs over the weekend, competing in the Justin Timberlake-hosted 8 AM Golf Invitational.

Actors Chace Crawford and Kathryn Newton were defeated by Mahomes, 26, and Kelce, 32. The NFL duo won the tournament by one stroke after shooting 18-under par.

The three-day event was held at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas and was hosted by 8AM Gold partner and Timberlake. Michael Phelps, ScHoolboy Q, Chandler Parsons, and Jimmy Fallon, host of the Tonight Show, were among those in attendance.

While earning his trophy with his Kansas City teammate, Mahomes informed guests that he’d be interested in competing in the tournament again and called the occasion as a “wonderful experience.”
