Neliima Azeem discusses the childhoods of Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter

Neliima Azeem, the mother of Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, has spoken out about her kids’ upbringing. They encountered several hurdles, according to the Kaala Mandir actress.

Neliima married actor Pankaj Kapur in 1979, and the couple moved to Mumbai before Shahid was born in 1981. She and her then-second husband, actor Rajesh Khattar, had Ishaan in 1995.

In 2001, however, Neliima and Rajesh split up. Neliima has spoken openly about her experiences as a single mother and the difficulties she has experienced.

Shahid and Ishaan experienced several obstacles, the actress revealed in a recent interview with India Today, due to her failed marriages. Both of her boys, she noted, have had their ups and downs.

Her children, according to Neliima, have shone through it all. Because things might have gone anyway, the actress remarked that she wanted to give her sons “an additional badge.”

She stated, “They could have had hundreds of problems that would have taken them down the path of not achieving anything. More than anything, they have achieved in their own profession. They have grown to be wonderful people. They are good human beings.”

Neliima Azeem stated that she was the family’s main breadwinner and that she was quite busy with work at times. Blackmail, Ishq Vishq, Alif, Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro, Dehraadun Diary, Sooryavansham, and more Bollywood films have starred the renowned actress.
