With Jon Watts as director, Spider-Man 4 with Tom Holland and Zendaya might happen. Spider-Man: No Way Home was Holland’s third standalone MCU film as the web-slinger. The film shattered multiple box office records and is now the sixth highest-grossing picture of all time, with a worldwide gross of $1,892,416,709 dollars.

Obviously, a sequel is in the works when a film is as successful as this one. However, given that Holland has a trilogy agreement and has appeared in other MCU films, many wonder if there will be future independent films with the actor.

Spider-Man 4 was said to be in the works, with Tom Holland reprising his role. Now, according to Comicbook, a report claims that it is probable, and that not only Tom but also Zendaya will return, and that the film will be directed by Jon Watts. Watts recently made headlines when it was announced that he will no longer direct Fantastic Four.

This does not, however, imply that he has left Marvel. Is it possible that the decision was made in order for Jon Watts to concentrate on Spider-Man 4? That’s a long shot, but we’re optimistic. Tom Holland has already been questioned if fans will see him again. The actor was forthright in admitting that he had no idea if it will happen. But, of course, an MCU actor wouldn’t reveal such a major piece of information so soon.
