Sharon Osbourne expresses gratitude to rapper who’saved’ her daughter Aimee’s life after studio fire

Sharon Osbourne expressed gratitude to rapper Jamal Rajad for assisting her daughter Aimee Osbourne in escaping a Hollywood studio fire on Thursday.

“Your husband alerting her literally saved her life,” the former “The Talk” co-host, 69, wrote a screenshot of Rajad’s wife and fellow rapper, Pretty Face Ray’Ray, commenting on the incident, which killed one person and injured two, on her Instagram Story Friday.

She wrote, “THANK YOU @pretty.face.rayray.”

In the original comment, Ray’Ray wrote, “[Aimee] ASKED MY HUSBAND TO CATCH HER SO SHE CAN JUMP OUT OF THE SECOND FLOOR AFTER HE WAS YELLING LETTING EVERYONE IN THE BUILDING KNOW. GLAD SHE DIDNT HAVE TO [JUMP] AND SHE WAS OKAY.”

Ray’Ray continued, “I’m still here right now, hoping I can salvage our studio equipment.”

Ray’Ray shared the message when Sharon responded, calling Rajad a “hero.”

Rajad revealed that the fire killed his animals in an Instagram post.

“I tried to save them but I could. Not [sic] beat the smoke and flames,” he wrote.

Aimee, who is 23 years old, has yet to post about her experience on social media. According to Sharon, she was in the studio with a producer when the fire started.

“They are the lucky two that made it out alive,” the former “X Factor” judge wrote early Friday. “It is utterly heartbreaking that someone lost their life today in this fire & we are sending our prayers to this person & their family. What happened today was beyond horrific. I really hope moving forward that buildings like this are better regulated for fire safety.”

Sharon went on to call the building “a creative hub for music in Hollywood,” adding, “Producers, musicians, mixers & artists also lost all of their equipment.”

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s eldest child is Aimee. (Kelly Osbourne and Jack Osbourne are the couple’s children.)

The singer was famous for not appearing on the Osbournes’ MTV reality show “The Osbournes” from 2002 until 2005.

Kelly, 37, said on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast in May 2021 that she and her older sister “don’t talk.”

The “Fashion Police” alum, who is presently pregnant with her first child, stated at the time, “We’re just really different.” “She doesn’t understand me, and I don’t understand her.”
