The 57-year-old designer, who is married to Steve Harvey, posted a cryptic video message from actress Jennifer Lewis on her Instagram Stories on June 6, two days after word broke that her daughter Lori had broken up with Michael B. Jordan after more than a year of dating.

In the six-second footage, Jennifer says, “If you sit in s—t for too long, it stops smelling.” “So get the f—k outta there,” says the narrator.

While it’s unclear what she was referring to, Marjorie’s retweet comes just days after Lori and Michael, who started dating in November 2020, announced their breakup. On June 4, People published the news, citing a source close to the couple as saying, “Michael and Lori are both terribly upset” and “still love each other.”

The Creed actor, though, didn’t let his heartbreak stop him from going out in public. He was seen with rapper Cordae at Game 2 of the 2022 NBA Finals in San Francisco the next day.

Lori seemed unconcerned on June 6 when she published seductive new selfies on her Instagram Stories, despite the fact that she had scrubbed all traces of Michael from her social media. While celebrating a friend’s baby shower, she was photographed wearing a cream-coloured crop top and a long leopard print skirt.

Steve also showed his support for his stepdaughter by tweeting an image that said, “Sometimes we need to thank God for what didn’t happen.”

On his morning radio show on June 6, the Family Feud host confirmed Lori’s breakup with the Black Panther actor, claiming he was “team Lori 1,000 per cent.”
