Bill Stepien, a former Trump campaign attorney manager, will be one of the witnesses appearing Monday before a House select committee examining the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, according to the panel’s announcement on Sunday.
However, the hearing will look at how former President Donald Trump accepted bogus claims of election fraud in the 2020 election.
According to panel aides, Democratic Rep. Zoe Lofgren of California, a member of the select committee, will play a “key role” in the presentation.

Aides said the committee will continue to offer additional multimedia presentations and video recordings from closed-door depositions.
Chris Stirewalt, however, a former Fox political director; BJay Pak, a former US attorney for the North District of Georgia; Al Schmidt, a former Philadelphia city commissioner; and conservative Republican election attorney Ben Ginsberg are among the other witnesses.
Despite Trump and his supporters’ assertions, two individuals familiar with the case earlier told that Ginsberg is anticipated to testify that there was no proof of widespread fraud in the 2020 election. He will also discuss Trump’s legal team’s lost court challenges.
