- Prince Charles affectionately greeted niece Zara Tindall at the Royal Ascot Monday.
- Tindall appeared happy to see her uncle, greeting him with a hug and kiss on the cheek.
- Charles also said hello to their niece Princess Beatrice.
At the Royal Ascot on Tuesday, Prince Charles greeted his nieces, Zara Tindall and Princess Beatrice.
First, at a horse racing event, the Prince of Wales, 73, greeted the royals with a warm smile and kisses on the cheeks.
Tindall, 41, wore a purple flowery dress with a matching fascinator, while Beatrice, 33, wore a pink version of the same ensemble with her husband Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The duo took the lead in the Ascot Racecourse parade in place of Queen Elizabeth II, who was unable to attend the opening day of racing.
Peter Phillips, Princess Anne’s son, was in Charles and Camila’s carriage, while the 71-year-old Princess Royal was in another.
The Queen’s absence has yet to be explained by Buckingham Palace, however, she has been suffering from mobility concerns since 2021. Elizabeth recently skipped many Platinum Jubilee celebrations due to “discomfort.”

Camilla was formally recognised as a Royal Lady of the Order of the Garter at the service, six months following her appointment.
“The Order of the Garter is Britain’s oldest and most senior Order of Chivalry, founded nearly 700 years ago by King Edward III,” read a statement on her and Charles’ Instagram account. “The Order includes Her Majesty The Queen, senior members of @TheRoyalFamily, and 24 Knights or Ladies, all of whom were personally appointed by Her Majesty The Queen in appreciation of their commitment to public service.”

Elizabeth backed Camilla as the future Queen Consort in February, which will happen when Charles wins the throne one day.
