- During the difficult days, a Karachi-based doctor took the lead in offering hope for people in need by providing them with a steady source of income.
- During his interview with a local news channel, Dr. Syed Daniyal Jilani revealed his motivation for creating a restaurant, not to earn a profit, but to help individuals who were suffering as a result of the lockdown.
Jilani explained, “Being a doctor, I couldn’t stop myself from empathizing with those who lost their jobs amidst the coronavirus pandemic.”

“I always put myself in patient’s shoes and therefore had to step in when I saw people committing suicide due to unprecedented financial hurdles,” he said before adding. “As an experiment, I rented out this place and opened this restaurant Boulevard13.”
Jilani explained that the name of the restaurant is a respect to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) because M is the 13th letter of the English alphabet.

Jilani also said that he wanted to guarantee employment stability to all 14 individuals, allowing them to make ends meet at such a young age.
The business owner also mentioned educating impoverished students.
