Manchester City are contemplating a bid for Brighton & Hove Albion’s left defender Marc Cucurella. According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations for Pep Guardiola’s top priority are nearing completion.
Cucurella had a fantastic season for the Seagulls last season, winning the club’s player of the year title in his debut season on the South Coast. Manchester City are looking to add to their full-back options, with Oleksandr Zinchenko prominently linked with a transfer away this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur have passed Yves Bissouma’s medical ahead of his transfer from Brighton & Hove Albion. Spurs agreed to a £25 million agreement with the Seagulls earlier this week, and all that remains is formal confirmation.
According to the Evening Standard, Bissouma passed his physical at the training field today and will become the club’s third acquisition of the summer. Spurs manager Antonio Conte is rumoured to be interested in four more players, including Djed Spence, Christian Eriksen, and Alejandro Bastoni.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Fulham and Sporting Club de Football have agreed on a cost of €18 million for midfielder Joao Palhinha. The newly promoted club are attempting to outbid Wolves for his signature, who have already agreed to terms with the Portugal international.
Palhinha is enticed by Wolves’ offer, but with his transfer to Molineux contingent on Ruben Neves’ future, Fulham might leapfrog them. Neves has been linked with a number of Europe’s top teams, but Wolves’ exorbitant fee has set off potential bidders.
