The decision came as a blow for many segments of the society including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khurrum Sher Zaman who lambasted the local government over this decision.

He was of the view that the incumbent government failed at steering the country adding that in the same system there was no load shedding during Imran Khan’s tenure while the imported government is at loss to provide basic necessities to the masses.

Sher Zaman also alleged that the Sindh government has failed to fulfill its responsibilities and Karachiites have been braving power outages due to this.

“PTI will continue to raise voice against the oppression in Karachi,” he added.
