A new smartphone, the midrange Nova Y90 from Huawei, was introduced online. It boasts a sizable screen, a sizable battery with quick charging, and a Snapdragon 680 CPU that supports only LTE.
A 6.7″ LCD with Full HD+ resolution serves as the front panel. It offers a 270Hz touch sampling rate and a 90Hz refresh rate. A single camera with an 8MP sensor and an f/2.0 lens can be inserted through a punch hole in the centre of the device.
Two 2MP cameras for depth and macro are placed beside the 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 on the rear. A single LED flash serves as their only companion, and they are mounted on an oval island.
The 5,000mAh power cell of the Huawei Nova Y90 supports 40W SuperCharge, and the firm guarantees a 50% charge in just 30 minutes.
We have EMUI 12 on the software side, but Huawei won’t specify which Android version it is built on. Through Huawei Computer Manager, it supports the Distributed File System, enabling a wireless connection to a Matebook laptop and wireless file access.
The Huawei Nova Y90 is available in three colour options—Crystal Blue, Pearl White, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black—and one variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. At this time, there is no information about cost or availability on the official website.
