Nicola Peltz says husband Brooklyn Beckham felt “a lot of pressure”

Nicola Peltz is happy Brooklyn Beckham changed careers.

Before Brooklyn got his feet as a chef, the Bates Motel actress said he felt “a lot of pressure to please people with his career and he didn’t love it.”  she wrote in August 2022, “You can tell that when Brooklyn’s in the kitchen he’s in heaven.”

The 23-year-old dabbled in modelling and photography before landing his Facebook Watch series Cookin’ With Brooklyn last year. Brooklyn’s events and business are pretty cool.

Nicola said Brooklyn has started seeking counsel from her millionaire father, Nelson Peltz, “He calls my dad and asks, ‘What do you think?'” “I adore seeing him imitate my dad.”

While the Transformers: Age of Extinction star is currently happy with Brooklyn, it wasn’t always the case. After meeting through one of Nicola’s brothers five years ago, they “didn’t get along,” she said.

She remarked, “We just didn’t click,” she recalled. “I had a boyfriend, he had a girlfriend.”

Fate brought them together two and a half years later at a Halloween party. Nicola taunted, “I can’t say what occurred, but we were inseparable.”

April 9 saw their spectacular wedding. Venus and Serena Williams, who were invited by Nicola’s mom, model Claudia Heffner Peltz, attended the wedding at the Peltz family’s multimillion dollar house in Palm Beach, Fla.

Nicola told Tatler, “It’s so random,” adds, ” “She ran into Venus and Serena at a charity event and told me, ‘I’ve invited them if they want to come.’ It’s so incredible⁠—those women are the most beautiful, successful icons ever.”

Nicola called the wedding “the best day.”

Added she,  “I just kept thinking, ‘I’m marrying my best friend.’ And that’s all that matters.”
